Looks like a worthwhile project. Appears to have power windows and AC. I contacted the seller. This is what I was told.

    1. Does it run? Engine locked up? I haven't tried to start it. It's been sitting for a long while and will need some work to get it going.
    2. Do you have the air cleaner for the engine? I have the bottom of the air cleaner but not the lid.
    3. Any rips or tears in the seats? Cracks in the dash? There are no cracks in the seats, but there is a small one in the dash. The arm rest and the driver's door panel has some cracks.
    4. Can you tell me which photo is the most recent? These photos were taken last week.
    5. Any rust on the body or frame? There's surface rust on the frame, but the frame is in good shape.
    6. Is all the glass good? Glass is good. The windshield does have a small bullseye in it below the mirror.
    7. I see the rear window is down. Is there any water damage in the cargo area? Any rust in the spare tire well? No water damage. I think the linkage on the window motor is bad, so the window is down.
    8. Has the rear bumper been painted? Yes, the rear bumper has been painted. Looks like someone ran into it.

Looks like two-tone or a vinyl roof. If the driver's side is as nice, I'd say that is good starting point for a project. I love the 66 Bonnevilles, and this one has a good color combination.

Have my eyes failed again or are there 2 radios in the dash?

Some early - mid 60's big Pontiacs used push-button HVAC controls that were designed to look like the radio controls.

Sorry Dewey, I thought you were making a funny about my statement.

I sit corrected. After some research of Bonne Dashboards, That IS apparently a control switch for another feature to mimic the style of the radio.

    I learn something everyday.

I had no idea Pontiac had that design. That is definately a different way to do it. :slap:

This is one great starting point for a project if it is as solid as it appears. Looks to be pretty much compete and certainly well worth saving.

Thanks for the close-up of the dash control RatMaster. That is so bizzarre!
I would have never thought that a control switch would be designed to look like a radio, complete with both knobs.
Even placed so close together from one another.

At a glance, it sure looks like two radios together in a dashboard.

Very Interesting! Thanks for the pic... (y)
