http://omaha.craigslist.org/cto/3453776852.html This looks promising, but seems pretty steep without a motor. What do you guys think?
It looks pretty decent on the outside but the inside is a mess. The price could probably be a little lower.
I'd rather not get a project, but with my price range a runner would be a miracle. I tried calling about it, if other than no motor (maybe they still have the original) there are no real issues, and I could get the price low enough...
3 on the tree manual, likely no overdrive. Body is not bad for the age but does need attention fairly soon. The interior needs attention as well. Be great to see this one saved, and you could have real fun with it. Maybe the 350 out of a Camaro SS with the 6 speed manual behind it. Great gas mileage out of that combo, too. Just get the buckets and console out of an Impala SS and away you go
The guy says he also has a '56 Ford Ranch and a '60 Brookwood(?) wagon, same price range. He wouldn't be one of us, would he? I'll have to wait until Monday to go take a gander, it's a good 5 or 6 hour drive.
I'd try to score it for less if I was interested. I see rust, mismatched seats and a damaged rear bumper right off the bat. Definitely a cool wagon though.
I've never bought a vehicle for the asking price, not about to start with something like this. They wanted $1000 for my Buick, I got it for $800.
I like the looks of a '56 Ford Ranch better actually, he said it needed floor pans but had a motor and tranny.
I sold it to someone in Columbus, Ne for $1000.00 Has clear Nebraska title!!! i purchased it from a salvage yard and tracked down the original owner and transfered to me then to this person(maybe). It sat in a pasture for 20+yrs. Was a 6 and three on tree, 6 pass non posi ac or ps.
