1973 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS

350 V8. 3rd seat.

I would have questions as to whether this has the factory SS option because the 1973 Chevrolet brochure says dual sport mirrors were part of the SS wagon option package. This car does not have (or no longer has) the passenger side sport mirror. Certainly more pics are needed inside and out.

Car has been repainted. And $8,000 for a car with ripped seats???

 

SS also came with lower contrasting side stripes that wrapped around the wheel openings. I'd need more proof than a badge on the grill to show that it's a 'SS'.

 

Looks nice but not $8000 nice!

 

Here's a listing of this one posted earlier in CA. No mention whatsoever that this is an actual factory SS option car. Putting an SS emblem on the grille is easy. This looks like a scam.

At that price this one is probably going to be around for awhile.

 

The SS wagons would have badging in the interior on the door panels, steering wheel and dash. The grille should be black instead of silver. The fender emblems would read SS instead of Malibu, and there should be an SS on the rear hatch. This one is more than likely fake.....
