this was advertised before and linked here. Something about a sunroof that had been filled in??

Looks good. Think it was 6k before, but I might be wrong

Yes, this car had a aftermarket sunroof installed and then "filled" in with metal. Price has came way down on this car. When I was trying to buy it the guy would not take anything less than $4,500. And look closely, woodgrain on right rear quarter does not match the rest of the car. Something gave me the feeling that quarter had been worked on before

And here I thought I found a good one. You got me curious so I tracked down the original post. It was back in August. Alot of good info. Not as honest as he says...

:tiphat: That's alright, it's been burst before. My wife says I'm too trusting. But I just like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

Hate to bring a really old thread back to life but I just bought this car. He finally came down to a price I thought "fair" so I picked it up. Hope to pick it up Sunday or Monday and get it home. Hope I don't regret this purchase LOL

All the original ad info is gone, Swanny. Post up some pics when you can. I'd be interested to see how the filled in sunroof was accomplished.

I have not picked it up, he sent me these pictures. I am hoping that the woodgrain will clean up. I plan on buffing the paint, finding center caps for it and I think I am gonna have to paint the roof. I can see where the paint is peeling. I am scared of the sunroof ordeal. The interior is mint and it runs drives great and A/C blows ice cold and cruise works

Nice car! So what is the deal with the roof, did it have a sunroof and someone removed it and welded in new metal?

It had a sunroof, supposed factory installed and the lady didn't want it so they filled it in. You can't tell from the outside. On the inside you can see the cover that would cover the sunroof. Who knows........

Hard for me to understand why you got rid of your other beautiful Buick, swanny. Anyway...this car looks good. The blistering under the DiNoc is a problem, though. Been there and tried to do that. Anxious to see more pix....congrats!(y)
