    Is it safe to keep a spare tire right over the engine like that?

    Also, I can't help but wonder if the person who posted the Malibu ad knows that three of thier pictures are upside down.

    I was told the spare on the subaru was put there to pass frontal crash safety regs back then ,,don't know if this is true or not but my kids sure hated me droping them off at school in it lol

    Our daughter hated me dropping her off with my 55 and 57 Chevys. She actually rode on the back seat floor. That is until all the boys started telling her our cars were cool ! Kids are strange, so we stopped having them.;)
