60k miles and loaded. Does show some rust, especially rear bumper. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1976...6241602?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4abcddf0c2
This is a nice looking wagon even with the rust. I think it said that he has a new back bumper for it. Interior looks pretty nice.
If that really is the original paint, a good buffing will make it look really nice. The interior is beautiful. The only visible rust is that back bumper, and he says a NOS bumper comes with it. 6 bolts, and that issue is gone. Lovely car!
Nice looking high option wagon. Staten Island location now, apparently ordered through the Minneapolis zone office. Must have been mostly a "summer only" car?
Why not spend 15 minutes to change the bumper core before making photos for the ad ??? It would make the car perfect and seller could raise asking price a bit.
I agree. That back bumper appears to be the only real flaw in terms of looks. It would make sense to go ahead and change it out if he has a NOS replacement.
I understand these Olds bumpers are prone to rusting out BUT I find it hard to believe the rest of the car is so nice and the bumper is junk. Something weird is going on with that. Maybe the original bumper was damaged and that is the only one they could find. But no matter what why would you not install the NOS new one. It's like a 2 inch deep pimple on your forehead. Everyone just keeps staring at that one big spot
Ok. This Olds bid to $9200 with reserve not met. Now it's immediately back with a Buy It Now price of $7995. Something's off. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1976...5900249?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2a24324359
