FOR SALE - Classic 1978 Chrysler Town & Country Wagon - Woody with only 36K miles!
    $3500
You probably haven't seen one of these in awhile, if ever. There are hardly any of them left. They didn't make that many to begin with.
Has leather / cruise / pw / pb / pdl / ac (not working). Hard working 318 engine was made for years and years. Easy to get parts.
Woodwork needs a little TLC here and there and headliner cover is a little droopy, but in terrific shape overall. Drives like new. Really.
In the last few years has had carb rebuilt and brakes done. Ignition converted to electronic. Tires are good.
Trailer hitch is perfect to pull your small trailer or boat or jet ski !!!

What does he mean by converting it to electronic ignition. These cars all had electronic ignition.

I think he means he got rid of the problematic "Lean Burn System".

I like GM woody wagons, not so found of the Chrysler woody look. If it was all paint I would pick it up tomorrow when I go and get my Chevy Wagon.

I had a 78 Aspen wagon it had a 360 in it with the same options but not the large gaudy woodwork. That car went like crap on the highway or in town. The western Canadian winters totally ate the body out from under it. Then a lady ran into it in a snow storm and it just crumbled.it had rust on rust under a what looked like a pretty decent car. Chrysler had a problem with their soup can metal back in the 70s I had a few of them. But that was an excellent car I loved the hatchback for fishing in the rain
