1990 Colony park 2nd owner dual exhaust (QC)

    Yeah, I think your eyes are playing tricks. I compared it to one of the other CP's in the Auctions section, looking where the top of the tire sits relative to the wheel opening. Actually appears about the same with both wagons.

    It's the small hubcaps and black steel wheels that's making it look wonky....

    You're just not used to seeing them right up where they belong, especially if it is tow package car. They sit just a trifle higher. And that dark cranberry red metallic is a gorgeous colour. It glows when the sun hits it.

    I think it's a combo of both. I think the blackwalls make it look like it sits higher, and definitely if it's a tow-package car. I just looked at some pics I had of my Caprice with the truck tires for the winter compared to the white walls and it had the same effect.

    There is not modification on this car, but new shoks absorber, police wheels with "nascar" tires make this car badass

    my previous colony park was the same color and it was burned by the sun like this one.

    Looks good IMO with the Dog dish caps, can't zoom in to see if they are Ford or not (comes up to blury).... I had Dodge cop rims with caps on my 80 Colony.

    Ummm, "nascar" tires....Ummm, no, but the white letter tire looks good.

    Those are the Ford dog dish covers they used on the fleet vehicles of that era.

    They used the flatter style (not sure if those are them or not) up until about '87. I believe they went to the rounder dog dish hubcaps in '88 when they changed the front and rear of the cars. They stuck with that style until about '96 or '97. Of course they also had the full wheel cover at the same time that they also used on fleet cars.
