Nicely optioned car, I'm sure it was a head turner in its day. But $10,500?? As much as I really like these 60's, it seems like it should be about a 4-5k wagon.

You could definitely turn this into something nice, but at $10.5k, the price of admission is a bit high.

Appears to me to have been a black car with a red repaint.
Also, the seller states that the woodgrain was 'painted on'. I don't think so. That would have been way to labor-intensive for a car manufacturer like Ford.

Found pics of a nice 'original' for sale in California, but you'll need really deep pockets with lots of coin in them

(This same dealer has a couple of Dodge Monaco wagons going for reasonable amounts - think at least one was posted on here.

And 'Fox, check out this one the same guy has for sale. Pretty reasonable price for one of these, IMO

I like this car but I agree that the price is too high. Even though it is solid and appears to be rust free, there is a lot of work to bring it back. I like the patina alright but, still, a lot of work for a starting price of $10,500.

KK...that seems like a good deal to me, too, on that Lincoln. They were rare and slick in their day. I had one once...for 3 days...I took an offer I couldn't refuse after owning it for 3 days. Never even got it registered before a guy threw money at me.:D

Didn't notice at first, but this is a "no reserve" auction. Opening price seems way too high, but it looks like there's at least one person out there willing to pay top dollar for this car. :49:

Nice Ford, I love the old Washington plates, the first letter designates the county it was originally registered in.
