I dunno about the rear wood being replaced, looks like the same pattern. The trim is even faded, so i wonder if she was parked in a carport with her heiny-hole hanging out in the sun for most of her life. You can see how the plate area is not discolored like the rest.

You may be right Foxie, but I dunno, I think she is just sun-bleached.

Yup...thought about that, Blackie but the rest of the trim around the di-noc is faded out too. Might not be a replacement and could be that the garage door was left open. When I first looked at it I didn't think the grain pattern matched but, now that I look again, it could be the same. Kind of unfortunate that it happened if it's just faded. The rest of the car looks good.

That's an odd set of options to me. Power split bench, woodgrain, wire covers, Turbo engine, but analog gauges? Seems to me most of the LeBaron sedans and wagons I see with Turbo engines also had digital gauges. I always thought they were grouped together, like the Popular/Luxury Equipment packages or *nameplate* America specials Chrysler had in the 80s-90s.

Not everything was grouped in 'packages' back then.
Wife and I were shopping for a new Nissan 300ZX Turbo in '85. Most of the Turbos had the electronic instrumentation package, especially the automatics, while most of the 5-speeds had the analog gauges. They were separate options though, and we did find the exact one we wanted, with the automatic and the analog gauges.

Another dreaming dealer shot down. The car was priced at $7995 (that's the dream) and the bids only reached $2550 (that's the shot). :D

I was always having arguments with the 'lady' inside the wife's 300ZX. As soon as you opened the door, she would shout "Your door is a jar!". And I would shout back, No, a door is a door!" And just like a woman, you couldn't turn her off or down, either!
