    It was beautiful, thanks .:)
It sold last year and I was more than happy to get what I got for it.
I had a lot of fun restoring it and it when it sold I made some real good money so I'm not complaining, you're lucky to break even on a resto normally.
It was ten times the car that one on evilbay is , maybe I should of asked 400K for it??:D

Now that's a nice Vista! Looks superb from where I am sitting. It is 50x the car the other one is. Great job on the resto Blue!

    Thanks!.:)

I wish I didn't have to sell it but times are tough and it was either sell it or live in it.
The '92 Custom Cruiser I picked up after I sold the Vista has a vista window in the roof so it's sort of the same?:)

This guy is absolutely out of his mind. I showed a pic to my dad and said what do you think of this car. He said about $1500, at best $2500. I think that's pretty generous.

I agree with your dad, I would be proud of it for $1500-2000, but much more then that and I would not be bragging much as people started picking apart the bullshat claims this guy makes. I feel for the uneducated people who will fall for this guys story, its sad because there are many that will and do so blindly.

Price has one too many zeroes and that first number is still pretty generous. $2000-$2500 at best because sure, they replaced the headliner, and oh, says here they rebuilt the engine.

I bet that rebuild consisted of a spray down at the local car wash followed by several hours of curse words in various languages followed by the purchase of a couple of rolls of paper towels, a cap, rotor, and plug wires, then a haphazard attempt to dry everything out, then a not so gentle drive home on 6 of 8 cylinders, then praying over a bunch of those candles you can buy at the Fiesta grocery store, and then waking up the next morning to find it starts and runs fine again.

THAT is how you rebuild an engine in California when you're baked all the time.

He would of had to have taken along some some spray bombs to the car wash because a 1971 455 engine is supposed to be blue.:biglaugh:

I'm tempted to actually go on the ad page and make a comment about his pricing, but since I'm not a 'buyer'.......

Anybody want to tell the guy what we think of his price?

Just say that Elvis sneezed on it and presto on the resto. :rofl2:

I agree as well, that this is only worth about $1500 - $2000 at best. This thing sounds like you can't possibly know for sure what you are getting and, sure, it could be what the seller says it is (highly doubtful) or it could be a rolling money flusher. Personally, with what the seller is saying I wouldn't pay more than $1000 and then only buying it to save it from some other fate that no Wagon deserves. That's just me, though.

This car is such and incredible joke. I look at the close up of the VC badge and it's scratched there and looks like the car was originally gold. Then I look at the door jam and it looks like it was blue. Then the guy says that it has the first prime coat on it that looks like white paint. I would really like to just punch out some of these sellers with their lies and grandiose BS claims.

I'll hold em, you punch em, and somebody can hold the camera.

We can call it an educational/preventional video for why you shouldn't lie.

Well....ebay is full of these kinds of people. You could type till your fingers fell off and never reach all of them. Frankly, I'd rather that they steer clear of the wagon family here. People that think like this are just not my kind of people. They are either down right thieves or are legitimately stupid about the subject of cars. I mean....c'mon....$40K for a 15 or 16 hundred dollar car? That car needs a ton of work and money to just make it reasonably right. Nope....just as soon I don't have to be confronted with these kinds of people.
