    Yes, that's a true 403 car, my uncle once had a 4door sedan the same year and color with a 403. It run OK, at the same time he had a white 78 Buick LeSabre Turbo Sport Coupe with a 3.8 Turbo that would outrun it tho.

    My B-I-L had a 403 in his Firebrd Formula, a '76(?) I think. Went like stink....

    This is the same genius who claimed in his prior eBay listing that it had a factory ordered 454 and it was not and could not be a 400 or 403.

    Glad to see someone educated him enough to fall back on what it really is, and I'd be happier with a 400 in a Poncho than a 403, hell, gimme a 301 if nothing else, I had a '79 Delta 88 sedan with a 301 2-barrel and a TH350 and that was a smooth running, low idling, good mileage getting car! Didn't even need overdrive to get 21-22mpg in that!

    My '79 Estate Wagon had the 403, it towed my boat like it wasn't even there :) tons of torque
