1962 Ford Falcon Squire Wagon - $4999 (Harwell) http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/ctd/2646751918.html Reply to: sale-ad9p6-2646751918@craigslist.org (dealer ad....) See ad for big pics
That thing has been on ebay for a while. It is a complete mess underneath. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1962...2428357?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3f0edee545
Thanks, Kevin. I didn't check out all the pics.... Man - that is a mess. "We're proud to offer this great deal on a classic muscle car..." ????
The woodgrain is way out there as far as what it should look like its not even close to the correct stuff. ! that beautiful little car deserves the correct type of grain er wood !!
I mean - this thing is all wrong. Obviously someone trying to make a quick buck by putting a quick pretty-up job on the outside, while ignoring all the trouble underneath. I'd much rather it was the other way around - floors and rust attended to, with a still-ugly body....... Kind of sorry I posted this one now - only did so because of the other '62 Falcon Squire in Washington I posted. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16030 - This one's far more honest.
It usually catches me once every couple months or so and I'll click on the ebay ad. I actually give the dealer credit for posting the underneath pics. Oh well.
I have to agree....how many dealers and or private sellers would only post the "candy" looking wagon with no under side pics. On a side note... In my teens I had a 63 Valiant rag top with a very decent body but floors just like that, One day my drivers bucket seat droped a few inches on one side while driving! Scared my so much I gave the car away to my at the time future brother inlaw. He sold to a friend who...... layed plywood over the rot and then bolted the seats, to the plywood...the plywood was just floating over the rot
