That car could use alittle more radiator but I find this troubling "Original Manual steering, original manual drum brakes, and the manual Muncie 4 speed" what this makes me think is that the guy simply stuffed a big block into a roller he had without regard to safety .... ie the braking and suspension is usually the first areas of concern on a build ..... it is gonna need alot more work to be a nice safe car.

... plus the car never came with a four-speed. The seller isnt "upfront".

-I agree with you 100%! Sure looks nice though~! I would never drive it any farther than that stop sign and back.........Wonder if it would stop at the sign?

I agree that the suspension and brakes would be a good upgrade. And the way I read it, it says that it's a 4 spd, but he does not have "original" in front of the 4 spd. (Same goes for the Ford 9" rear.) Just that it should be an experienced driver to handle such a car with that combination.

Looks like it could be a fun ride though...

Good points about the suspension and braking. I especially like that old crusty single pot master cylinder. Oh, the joys of risking life and limb on something so old and worn out.

Oh I would love to have that car, dont get me wrong but I want cars that go fast, stop fast, and go around corners fast ... its only a third of the way there. But granted "only for experienced drivers" sounds alot better than "unfinished project" .... I woulda gone with "diamond in the rough"! LOL

I agree.............I wouldn't want to drive that rig without a serious brake upgrade.
