Nice country sedan on ebay. He'd probably get alot more if he cleaned it up a bit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970...5324270?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item23145a66ee
Love the west coast mirror on the passenger side. The interior plastics are toast. Replacements will not be easy to find.
Oh for crying out loud, I never will understand why somebody trying to sell a car like this doesn't spend a day cleaning it up. At the very least, give it a good vacuum and put the wheel covers on. Perception wise at least, it would make a huge difference. If you don't want to do it yourself, pay the 16 yr old kid next door $50 and have him do it. You'll probably make your money back 10 fold.
here's a matching mirror: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967...es&fits=Model:Galaxie+500&hash=item1e67169a90
Your link is closer to what it should be, a fender wheel well mount miror. That miror scabed to the door is a junior west coast truck/van mirror, I have a few in my shop attick from old early 70's ford trucks and econolines http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NOS-WEST-COAST-JUNIOR-MIRROR-SET-FORD-CHEVY-DODGE-/380292099426
Other than mechanical parts and suspension/brakes Stuff IS IMPOSSIBLE to find and when you do its slim pickens or a million bucks
From the description, the car is just a bonus included with the trailer. Effective opening bid on the car is $885. No keys, so the seller doesn't even know if the engine is seized or not.
If it were closer I'd buy it cause i could use some parts for my '69 especially the deflector on the roof rack. I wonder if it is a 6 passenger or a 10?
