Ran across this while cruising on CL.
It's in New Jersey of all places, and it's at a used car lot.

But it looks pretty good. (Admittedly, there are no underbody or engine compartment pics.)

But it's BLACK! Mileage at 102k isn't bad, and $4,795, the price isn't in the stratosphere.

Maybe someone on the east coast could be interested in this one..

I'm liking it, too. There was a time I was looking for this rare black car.....this one looks nice. I agree the price isn't way crazy...although, there is no mileage given. Even so...the price is a dealer price so should be less without a trade. If you know how to negotiate.:D If I didn't have one and it isn't a rust bucket...I would definitely be on it!:yup: And it's an LT1.
    EDIT:
I just noticed that the mileage IS listed...at 102K. This wagon is a deal after negotiating...if it isn't rusty.

I just emailed them and asked about rust and asked for pix of the underside. I like this wagon a lot and am surprised that no one here on the forum has gone to look at it. Black is rare...and beautiful on this wagon. If they send pix and they show a clean underside I may jump it myself. I can't lose if I make a deal. I hope they send pix. I won't be able to show them here because I had to use email. I will let you know what I find out.

That is plenty sharp. I bet the fox could get it for 3849 with a little patience. I wonder how long they have had it? The interior looks great in the photos.

That car has been for sale for a couple of months , makes you wonder? They go quick and usually anything that is clean and around that mileage would sell quick for that price..
I called weeks ago and tried to get pics of the underbody and engine and the salesman told me he had no way to do it, and that it was "clean" for a car that old?
You never know until you look for yourself anyway.
The rear bumper is angled and the left rear corner trim piece has a weird gap and angle like the bumper was pushed up, dent in the right front fender on top , chip in the woodgrain on left rear door, trim is out of alignment between that door and the quarter, other trim is out of alignment.
I was thinking about taking a look at it but too far to drive without more pics.
I just bought a '92 Custom Cruiser (on it's way at this very moment from California) so I'm not looking anymore anyway. I'm too old school for an LT1 too, the LO5 is much more wagon/truck-like and less exotic and high strung, like me.:)

Who figured putting the wonderful LT1 distributor behind the water pump was a good idea??:rofl:

Take $3200 with you and my bet is you would drive away in that wagon. But, hey...who wants to go into New Jersey??:D

This place is right on the Passaic River, Let's hope it escaped the flooding.
