Looking at the condition, I'd say it's at least 5k over-priced. The engine bay needs a lot of attention, and there are some rough areas in the interior. The paint is nice, but you can keep the wheels: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford...15aQQitemZ300587053402QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks
I'm funny about cars like this. I like this style and all but, yeah, you can keep the wheels....AND the paint. It looks good but....unless it's a frame off resto in & out, or, I know the car, I don't like repaints. As you point out, there are some rough spots inside and we don't know what's under that paint. I will pay less for a car that sits there honest. Please, don't BS me with doctored glitter. I'm not saying that this car is doctored glitter, but...how do I know? I don't want to pay for someone elses paint job unless I have seen it beforehand. Give me an honest car everytime. Just the way I am. EDIT: Oh....and, yeah...the car's over priced IMHO.
I agree. Way overpriced but I like it more than you guys do. I so agree with you, SF, it'd be so much better looking with the stock wheel covers and some period correct white walls.
Simply overpriced. Decent enough car. Dingy seats and headliner take away from the otherwise nice car. It should glisten for that price. Otherwise 6 grand is tops.
On seats matching, my parents had an '83 or '85 Buick wagon, the little G body one. Anyway, the front seats were cloth, and the rear was vinyl. I also thought it was weird that the rear passenger windows did not roll down...
Some of the 80's B body box wagons came that way too. I always thought it was strange. There was one for sale like that awhile back.
