We've had that same Colony Park in this section before. It's been forsale for quite a while. If it had been a 'normal' color, it would have sold long ago, for a lot more $$$$. That color just kills the desireability factor.

Yeah, IMO there's a good reason that's a 1 of 1 car, lol. Mobil 1 since new.....changed 3x a year, would be interesting to see what kind of shape the engine's in after 35 yrs. These big Mercs are nice looking cars but only in the more "elegant" shades I think.

I can remember when you had to have a 100pt car to be at Barret Jackson.

They've also brought back the reserve.

Looks like I'll have to ship down a few rides to their Palm Beach auction this year.

If you could get it right and splurge for a good paint job you would likely have a good car. Mobil one does make a difference. Like KK says...it's been around for quite awhile without a buyer.

I went to B-J in Scottsdale about 4 years ago. You could smell the money in the air. There was a parking lot for people's private helicopters for Christ's sake. Absolutely disgusting the money people have to play with.

Yup, Yup, and YUP! I still think though if you got rid of the pumkin full wheel hubcaps and went with stock 'spokies' or even black rims with dogies this could look good................

I've seen this car for sale a million times. If it were something along the lines of forest green, it'd be a doozy.

It's either baby crap orange or Dow Corning Yuk (agent orange)! According to the ad it would have been just one of 16 except for the rear carpet that made it 1 of 1. Figure at the time there were about 260,000,000 in the U.S. and 16 of 'em chose that color.:coco:

....It was later determined that the 16 were color blind. :yup:

Yeah I love how the rear carpet is the clincher that makes this a rare vehicle when paired with that color. Maybe if the color wasn't absolutely atrocious.

I would have a hard time justifying the purchase of a Caddy CTS-V for 10K if it was that color!:49:
OK.....I'd pretty much buy it in a half a nano second.
But I WOULD have to repaint it! [IMG]
