    a nice interior

Makes me wonder if it has a nice gut in it? Most of the later Matty's I've seen have pretty nice interior fabrics and such. Some ppl may say they are a bit gaudy, but I think they're uber cool. Kinda like some mid/late 70's mopars too that were like that. Now speaking from a Ford point of view, some of the Fords were kind of austere in that time period. My dad had a Gran Torino Squire and 78 CS and they seemed plain compared to a friend's dad's T & C.

Either way, that'd be a hell of a wagon to snap up.

Hey this is the car that I wanted saved a long time ago and a member here called Lex bought it. I'm pretty sure this is the car....it had a miss in the engine too. It was on eBay and Lex bought it for like 600 bucks:biglaugh: He said he was going to do a number on it. Guess he's not. He had it shipped from, I THINK it was, California.
    EDIT:
Nope....different car. And Lex was/is from Tampa.

    (y) Hey guys THIS Matador was mine early last year I sold to a friend in Winchester KY.. it has a burnt valve ( lean burn set up in that era). But still runs good.. It was from CA all it life,, AC works.. NICE interior. cruise works too! & NO RUST!
And no its not Lex's car.. I had several AMC of mid 70's ( 304's) that had bad valves.. I even talked with Lex about his and fixing all the problems with his car.. he said he'd get back with me when he had more time to devote to it:tiphat: Then I sold another 76 Matador wagon this year dark blue, no grain.. 3rd seat, 304V8 ( 53,000 ) miles.. let go for $3000.
Now seeking a Concord wagon 78-83 ( I still have another 401 ci to install in my last retirement project ). Wife says: dont care what you do as long as dishes are done we she gets home from work ( she easy!) Love that!

That would have been sweet for me. I don't think my wife could say no to a $3000 dark blue 53K mile wagon with a third row, even if it is a coffin-nose Matador. I'd love it, she'd roll her eyes and hand me the money...
