I'll bet it's a comfee drive with those buckets, but IMO they don't belong in that wagon. I'm all for buckets and console, I did it to my 83 using seats from a Crystler Concord but a old classic like that it's just plain wrong. Era correct Ford buckets in the same colour, that would look good.
Those seats look like overstuffed Barcaloungers! And while I like the period look, 60's seats aren't comfortable if you do any amount of driving. Especially for folks that are taller than average. Those low backed seats just don't cut it. ( I love the '04 GTO seats in my daily driver Tempest.)
Thoose seats have to go. I like driving around on my couch, but Imagine the entire interior to match those puffy, overstuffed things. Yuck. I nice clean late model seat is much better.
Seems we're all singing from the same songbook on this one. I thought it looked pretty interesting, though I would've preferred the factory wheels and tires, (but that's just me), until I saw those totally inappropriate seats. I wonder what they came out of; I'm thinking maybe Chrysler Cordoba. Plus, they're not even the right color. He probably still has the original back seat, so they're totally mismatched. Nope, put that 1968 Ford bench back in there where it belongs.
