Yeah it is a nice instrument panel for sure, KK. This is a nice looking car...I sure would like to look underneath it though. I HAVE seen cars that lived their life in Wisconsin that were totally rust free but it is unusual. This is a pretty wagon. Of course, it had to be blue with roll ups. But I don't mind dark blue exteriors too much. I could live with this car if it's as cherry as it looks. Almost looks as though the miles could be right.

I like it, always like these wagons. The 1980 front end styling was my favorate.

I think it was shortly before you joined up here Mike, Fred from Mostly Unusual Cars (the B-body guy) was selling a two-tone green (no wood) '81 Bonneville Safari. The wagon was by no means perfect, but I loved it. By the time I got around to making a decision to get it, it was already gone - sold for just a few hundred dollars I think....

Absolutely! The more I drive my '81 Parisienne the more I love it.
'81 was the last year for the true Canadian Parisienne's with the pointy front bumper. After '81 the Parisienne was just rebadged Caprices and lost some of that quintessential Poncho-ness that makes them so cool, but they still rock!

Yeah, they seem to loose all there "luster" when they became nothing more than a Caprice with Poncho badging.

I've been looking at this fantastic wagon, and DANG! it is amazingly wonderful!
(If this were a 77-79 Buick EW in this shape, I would be in big trouble! I have always liked the Pontiacs, but I have a thing for Buicks of this era.)

I am posting some of the pics from this listing, because it is documentation of just how superb these GM box wagons really were. It is actually trimmed out a little nicer than the Buick Estate Wagon of the same year. The seats are much more plush, with all the pleats and contours.

There are more pics in the listing, but the silly owner didn't rotate them.

    Very nice job, Pontiac! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

KK....that was after I joined up here and I remember the car well. I THINK it was me that posted it here. I actually thought you were going to buy it! I almost bought it because of the price and I liked it....especially for the money. I liked the color, too. Went off at 600 bucks, as I recall!
