I've seen that 4-door advertised for a while.
    He's asking too much.

I missed the original post. I see it is expired, and then realized that the original post was from a while back.

I must be getting old if I'm missing '57 Pontiac wagons for sale advertisements :banghead3:

Not that the DW is enthused about me running out and buying anything else at the moment, but at least when I find them it gives me something to moan and groan about around the house till she brings me home one of my favorite treats to shut me up . She's intuitive that way :1st:

Scary isn't it? Two of us "out there" with love of wagons, goodies, and a DW..............next thing you know you'll be saying that you have also kept your Pontiac engine rather than switch.........

At times my small inner voice speaks out as well. Fortunately for me it says far less dangerous things. I enjoy living a wholesome life and part of that is having all of my appendages attached and in working order. If I ever even thought what your LIV said I'd be trying to spin wrenches with one arm, or worse, having a sudden urge to try on my DW's shoes and things. Oh, I know, there are guys out there who do that anyway :49:, but I'm not one of them......

:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh: Stick with SWMBO guys. It makes them feel like they're being heard. :biglaugh: Understood is another issue altogether. The wiring and plumbing are beyond our grasp. Vive la difference! (y)

Well, compared to mine, where the only thing close to original is the North Dakota dirt caught up in the frame rails, this four door is a beauty. Some one will eventually end up with a very nice little wagon to tool around in.

If I were to buy another 567 wagon it would be another Safari, preferably a '55/'56 like the one that was up for grabs a few months ago. A really nice and clean original to go with my driven hard and put away wet altered. :character0182: :D

When I was in pursuit of a '57 Safari I got a call from a fellow named Fred Alexander out of Saskatchewan who had a beauty. He'd picked it up in Indian Head I believe. As we were loading up the stuff in the truck and trailer it occured to me that I :banghead3: hadn't even asked if it was a two door. Oops. I called him and it wasn't. Suddenly, two very disappointed people. He thought he had a sale, I thought it was not a 4 door. I saw it later and it was a stunning Canadian model, loaded, for I think in the 2K range. I guess I could/should have bought it anyway as a second vehicle but my head just wasn't there at the time. Since then I've seen a few of them, like the one in this advert, that would make lovely cars to own. Oh well...........
