    Not a perfect wagon, but a good start if it's the size you want. Will probably sell below $5,000......

    And FYI......... 1982 was the ONLY year there was a Granada station wagon. (At least in the United States....)

    I never knew they even made one…I guess they sold this alongside the fox body LTD? Talk about redundancy. Cool wagon though..

    I think the FOX LTD replaced the Granada in 1983. in 82, I think, Ford had Escort wagon, Granada and LTD (Fullsize). In 83 had Escort, LTD (fox body) and Crown Vic (full size)

    Sounds about right…I wasn’t sure exactly when the small LTD started its run but did know the fox body and panther wagons were sold side by side…just didn’t realize the first year it was out (other than farimont trim) it was a Granada!

    It would have been cooler if the selling price was $5,454 - anyone know why I think that?

    I think that basic station wagon body went from Fairmont to Granada to LTD in a few years.

    They are all basically the same just with different front clips. The Fairmont/Granada used the Mustang style dash/cluster. The LTD/Marquis used the '80-'82 Thunderbird dash/cluster.

    I'm so glad you asked! 5454 RPM is the point where horsepower and torque are exactly the same.

    Yeah, geeky, I know. :)

    Wouldn't that point be different for different engines?

    It's actually 5252, and no, it is the same for every engine. Horsepower is just calculated using torque and RPM.

    HP = RPM*TQ/5252

    So when RPM = 5252 then HP = TQ

    Hey Kevin, you're right - my way to mess up a bad delivery. :) It IS 5252 RPM.

    A mind is a terrible thing to lose.
