Agreed. Love the color and interior. Only because I’m a stock wheel cover nut, these ‘66 wheel covers look good, but would prefer the correct’68’s. Hey at least they’re not J C Whitney mags.

I thought those hub caps were wrong. I agree, wrong year hub caps bother me too.

Liked the LTD standard wheel cover on the far left, but really liked the deluxe wheel covers. ‘68 was the first year of that wheel cover. Ran through’72.

An NOS set of the deluxe wheel covers sold on ebay a couple of years ago for $960 with shipping. At that price I'd be afraid to drive the car with them on. Still, I do love how they look.

Car looks fantastic with just a few minor flaws.
A little sag in the door trim panels
Tailgate window switch bezel is from a convertible
A little rust on the turn signal stalk.

The woodgrain has definitely been replaced with (hurrah!) an authentic reproduction. I suspect the car's been at least refurbished if not restored. Either that or it's been sealed in a plastic bubble for the last 54 years.

Current bid is $10,000. My guess is that this will at least double by auction's end.

Yeah the back of the front seat too seems a bit strange, puffy wise, but agreed. With a few things this car could be a stunner.

I guess winning bid will look on line for correct hub caps and call it a day.

Short of some little nitpicky things that’s about it.
