Any guesses on what it'll bring?

Kind of like The Price is Right show....you can be under but not over.

I will say $48,000 Bob(or Drew)...after all, it is on BAT.

What made me think that is I checked the steering wheel on my ‘49 Windsor. Would say it’s a pretty close match, and Chrysler used that horn button for years.

Beautiful car! I've always loved those post-war/pre-'55 Mopars. They were really nicely-engineered. I'm also a fan of the Mopar flathead six, and I hear those Fluid Drive cars shift really smoothly too. I bet she rides like a dream. :thumbs2:

Well it won’t blow your hat off, but she is smooth, and the Fluid drive is a really nice touch. I had read where cab drivers in big cities loved these FD Mopar products.

In '62 the NYer had a 300-ish grille. I will bet you that the 61 and 62 Chrysler grilles are mix n match. So you prolly can do a 62 NYer grill in a 61 Windsor/Newport

Man, that black NYer sedan up top is gorgeous.

Well, to have your hat blown off it'd have to be a convertible! :p

I'm sure the '61 and '62 grills interchange. They had the same shape and I would assume the mounting hardware was the same. Nonetheless, that grill looks a bit out of place on a '61, but it's still a beautiful car! It seems to be well-restored, so I wonder why a different grill was used? I guess they couldn't find a proper grill for the resto?

Man, I would've thought higher too. 41K is still pretty decent money for a modified rare car like this though.
