He says the mileage is 36,000. I wonder if that's correct. The car sure looks like it could be, especially the interior. As sort-of plain-Jane as it is, for under $2000, it seem like a lot of car that someone could have a fun with.

I'm no Mopar fan but I just love the interior in this wagon! Hope someone picks this up, for $2,000 that's a great deal!....Longroofs Rule!

I shouldn't want anything to do with that....but my nostalgia strings are being pulled hard. Those WERE everywhere when I was a kid. Doesn't mean they were GOOD....but there were THERE. ;)

Grandparents had the Plymouth version, theirs had bench seat.
This is cool with the buckets and floor shifter. (cool for a k car wagon)

The interior actually looks quite upscale with the bucket seats and floor shifter when compared to the exterior. If it isn't rusty that's not a bad deal at all.

I am in the same boat as you Mike. There is nothing impressive about this little car in the way of performance, style, etc. And yet....
    The nostalgia strings...

I am glad I am out of space, I agree with everything said about this car. They don't drive well, I never had the urge to own one, but something about this car for the price intrigues me.

Probably owned by a Chrysler retiree.

That interior does look nice. Question: is that a power lock switch on the wood grain on the door?

That would be my guess, but I don't think any of the K-Car rentals I drove had power Locks. The thins I remember where the horrible steering, most did not track down the road straight, the uncomfortable bench seats (the bucket seats were not that bad) no power, torque steer, and iffy brakes. But if I wanted to relive the early 1980's in Pentastar kinda way this car would be perfect. I even like the Colors. The survivors I see around the Detroit area are usually a color somewhere between Gray and Blue, with a dull gray vinyl interior.

That really is a cute car. If space and distance weren’t a problem here that would be in my garage for that kind of money. It’s cute in a Pug sort of way. I had an ‘83 Reliant company car for a short time. Agree cammerjeff, you weren’t gonna fall asleep in that car due to comfort. It was a toss up with my ‘82 Fairmont Futura in baby blue with the blue and white checked seats. At least the Futura had buckets.

Beyond the placement of the power locks...is that not a GM lock switch??
