I'm a new member here, and I have loved just rooting around and looking at pics of cool wagons, and learning new stuff from the posters.

I can tell this is where the true enthusiasts are hangin' so I hope my wagon goes to someone on this forum, and that I can perhaps get my next wagon here...

My Safari is loaded with V8,AT,AC,PDL,PDB,PS,AM/FM Cass,CC,TW,3rd Row Seat, Cornering Lamps, & 2-way Tailgate. White with Woodgrain & nice tan interior. Car is sporting original paint, has 170,595 miles on it. Was only used in the summers and garaged before I bought it in late '05.

Overall, it is in very good condition. The main issue is a noise coming from the transmission. Economic circumstances dictates that we sell.

Reserve is pretty low (*hint, its almost there!)

    Thanks for looking,

Thanks. Car did not sell on eBay. Bidding stayed at $610 for the last 3 days, then...nothing. I expected it to move up at least a little...

Thats how my 89 Safari did... it went to like $700 and the reserve was $750. It was 100% rust free, nice body, nice interior, etc... no one wanted it, but bids were flying on Caprice Estates and Custom Cruisers that were on ebay at the same time... ???

I ended up trading it for a 89 BMW 325i and sold it for $1800, then took that $1800, bought a 1984 Mercedes 190D, sold it for $3300, then took $500 of that and had the engine in my wagon rebuilt, then took the rest and bought a very nice 1988 Mercedes S-Class. :) So I ended up doing pretty good.

The guy that traded the BMW for it, hopped in it and took off up the highway... the car had not been on the road in 3 years and I told him that... he didnt care. I never heard from him. I assume he made it on his 50 mile trip home. I guess she was more reliable than I had thought. He said he was going to restore it, but I wonder. I hope it didnt end up derby material. :(

    Price reduced

Now $600. A lot of car for the money, IMHO.

If you were closer, I might bite.......not gonna spend $1,000 to ship a $600 wagon, though.

Its Mopar AND no car for me

Wagon sold this weekend. Down to one car total for the household. Current hard times means no replacement any time soon.

When I do get back on my feet, hope to get a mid-90's Roadmaster Estate, or 2003-2004 Mazda Protege5.
