    Absolutely beautiful automobile.....
Put that in a big auction, and it would bring $65k+.....

How many 1953 vehicles have you seen with power windows?

First thing I noticed after the alligator type seats. And to answer the question, I think the oldest I've seen with power windows ( on the net) was a Chrysler, a 55/56 imperial 2 door.

'Electric windows' standard in the Lincoln Cosmopolitan in 1949. They were available even before this, maybe hydraulically operated - not sure which make, though.

It seems the oldest power windows date back to 1940:

"Packard had introduced hydraulic window lifts (power windows in fall of 1940, for its new 1941 Packard 180 series cars.[1][2]This was a hydro-electric system. In 1941, the Ford Motor Company followed with the first power windows on the Lincoln Custom (only the limousine and seven-passenger sedans).[3]Cadillac had a straight-electric divider window (but not side windows) on their series 75."

Why the clutch pedal on an automatic?

Fluid Drive and some other names that escape me that Chrysler Corp. used throughout their line up.
