Is there anyone in the forum that owns a '70 Estate wagon? I am curious about some things.

I’m looking at these pics again and I am wondering if this is a 9 passenger after all and just not with the seat up. The load floor doesn’t have a latch like a cargo area, there does not appear to be a hinge between the two floor panels and the bumper has a cut out for a step.

He's moving toward reality, one inch at a time.

I saved the photos from the original ad. It has to be the same car. There's roughly 2000 more miles on it now.

You're thinking of Olds. Buick had a small block (300-340-350) and big block (400-430-455). Count the bolts on the valve cover....6 on small blocks and 5 on big blocks. Very little, if anything, will interchange.

I stand corrected. The 300 dates back to the early 60s.
The big blocks were so efficiently cast that their dimensions are comparable to those of the small block Chevies', making them easilly fittable into GM compacts
