Looks nice! Keep in mind what slightly used late model 'look alike' cars sell for now. At least when you go to the mall you will find your wagon without using the remote to blow the horn. I dream in color and they are always funny!
True! My roof rack has been a great help when I forget where I park and have to scan the tops of the cars in the lot lol.
I bought a Chevy Impala. It's Salsa Red. Kinda light maroon, like 50% of the Toyota's, Fords, Buick's, Subaru's, Kia's, etc and the same shape. I try to park on or near an end row and remember what door I enter at the stores. My wife will climb into anything with the doors unlocked. So 25 grand ain't such a bad deal when loosing a car is so common.
Looks to have been wood-paneled, with the silver area where the 'wood' once was. Also looks like it used to be maroon instead of the bright red. Maybe this original color: (This one's a newer model, though....)
You bought a NEW Impala? I had a 2014 (first year of the current design) and loved that car! Mine was silver though; handsome but not as sexy sounding as that Salsa Red!
Salsa red has visions of scantily clad Mexican honky tonk dancers. I don't see that when I look at my 2014 Impala. My favorite color is red...real red. So on line I saw a 2013 bright red Impala at a dealership. It had 53,000 miles, was a year older, and not really much cheaper than the 2014 salsa red . My 2014 was one year old exactly according to build work with just under 21,000 miles and maybe $1000 or so more. The 2013 way over two years old on paper. So far not counting 3500 miles Florida and back then back to Illinois I've put only around 2500 miles on the car. Still only 27,000 since July 8, 2015. At this rate I can drive many years before I get the 53,000 that the 2013 had. But it was red.. RED! With the V-6 I actually get 34MPG on trips and 24 MPG warming up in Illinois and puttering to the mall. Large enough to stuff an electric media center/fireplace in the back seat, or groceries and two other adults. Besides it was half the cost of a new 2015 at the time and I could pay cash. I first bought a house on line then the furniture. Why not a car? All were the best deals we ever got! No walking in heat or cold, no dickering, no waiting to see what the man in room #2 has to say! It ain't red and I miss my red quadcab truck! Now it has an ugly Illinois license tag on front.
My favorite color is red...re-sale red. So......................... I didn't really want to resale my red truck. That dependable Dodge hemi was dollaring me to death. Now I don't wanna resale my salsa red Impala but a mini van seems better for old people to get in and out of. Mini van!!!!!!!! I get dizzy every time I think about this! If I do get one it will have to be resale red. ........ Or pull me over red.
