    I remember the story on this one...might have mentioned it before in another thread. This was special-ordered by a guy here in my area, from the local Ford dealer in Junction City, Oregon - about 25 miles N/W from me, about 7 miles north of Eugene. Dealer no longer in business. Story was, the guy wanted to be able to 'tow his boat'...... Well, I think the 429 would do it. (Personally, I think it was just a line he gave his wife, instead of saying, "I want a REALLY fast station wagon.".

    were they asking him about Kathie Lee, Kelly or the wagon? IF it was K.L. or Kelly I'd probably answer "A bag of Walnuts"

    As for the wagon...I'd "hit it" - it checks off all the boxes. It'd be neat to go one better and be a Merc Montego set up like that....
