"I know what the car is worth this isn't my first rodeo been in the business for 3 generations heard all the stories too."
Looked up a generation, widely agreed that each generation is 33 years. This dude is almost 100 years old!:disagree:

This is another Craigslist Creep that won't give you " HIS " phone #, but, will call you back after
you give him " Yours " !!!! That has ALWAYS been a deal-breaker for me personally. I mean he's
putting the ad out there. ( Not you ! ) So, the only way to get in touch with him about the car that
he wants to sell is " I'll call you when I feel the need " He'll be having that car a LONG TIME !!:tsk::tsk:

He doesn't have time to waste sending you pictures of the perfect interior in his overpriced car. He knows what it is worth. This is not his first rodeo. He has heard it all.

He knows what it's worth. I wonder if that means he knows it's not worth what he's asking?

It does have those "Cadillac" style turn signal repeaters/warning lights on the front fenders. That must be a pretty darn rare option in those years...

Yes, the factory fiber optics lamp monitors were pretty much only 1969-70 for the Caprice.

For that kind of Coin, I'd want the Woodgrain to at least look Presentable.

I thought he said in his first ad that he knew what the car was worth. Was he wrong or lying? Personally I just don't see the major draw of this car. I guess it has a big block (woo). He seems awfully proud of it.

In terms of advertising, it's called "puffing." He can put any figure on it he likes, but it doesn't mean anyone will actually pay it. This is a fairly rare and highly optioned Caprice wagon. It also looks clean. That said, for the price he is quoting, I would want near perfection, and this wagon is not it. Putting new wood grain on it would help a lot.

Very nice, I'd give him ten cash for it. Then I'd clean it up, do the bodywork, paint it (straight white is easy and cheap), have the woodgrain done, then sell it for 25k.:D
It isn't 1999, people are smart to how popular/valuable good wagons are, they have been for years. I got 20k for my Vista Cruiser five years ago and the prices aren't going down, 15k ain't nothin' anymore.
