Is this what Nova wagons are really pulling these days?? http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/161575764623?item=161575764623&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466&rmvSB=true Also, if you are going to ask $43k for a car on ebay and only post 6 pictures at least make sure that 3 of the pictures don't show the exact same view of the car.
I think this is very excessive and optimistic. They are going for easy five figures though. My daily driver from 1990 to 2000 was a '66 wagon with original 283 & a/c. After putting almost 200,000 miles on it, I was able to double my money upon selling it. That was still nothing compared to what they sell for now. I deeply regret selling mine not because of the potential monetary return, but because it was the BEST car I've ever owned.
There are quite a few pics in the FULL DESCRIPTION of the car.. However, as nice as it may appear I seriously,, SERIOUSLY, doubt a 1984 paint job and a Summit decorated standard cruising type motor, and an open 10 bolt rear-end is worth anywhere close to 43,000$ to anyone,, including those NOT in their right mind ..... .
Not necessarily. Asking prices are not selling prices. Two comments: 1. It's a dealer, and dealer asking prices are always astronomical. My guess is that, when and if this ever sells (listing has been taken down as I write this), lots of negotiating will have preceded the final sale, and we'll never know what it finally sold for. 2. It's modified. All bets are off on pricing on modified cars.
I was just taken aback at the price on this thing for what appeared to be a fairly normal mildly modified Nova wagon. When I saw the pictures I figured maybe $12k-$15k for an asking price (and yes I do know the difference between asking price and selling price and yes I do know that dealers ask idiotic prices), but this just seemed stupid. I don't think the 283/pg Nova SS that seems to have taken its place is much of a bargain at $37k either.
