Haha! In the ad text, the seller threatens to :49: drive it, if he doesn't get his price!

I noticed that. His entire ad text seems a bit "off". Quote from the listing:

"If it does not meet the reserve my wife and I will drive it. Summer, winter does not matter to me."

Maybe he had it up for sale some time back and he got upset at some very low offers.......

Even so, but why waist peoples time with a lame ad on ebay 'if idt doesn't sell"....... post up your reserve as a starting price and then the market will decide if your going to drive it all winter because it won't sell.

Nice car, I'd love it (but no ca$h as all ways) but even if I had the $, seller IMO sounds like he would be be his own worst enema when it comes to selling this wagon............................

Those tires are easily 40 years old, if not older. I'm sort of surprised they haven't fallen apart.

Good eye. I think they only made those dual stripe tires in 1970 & 1971. They do make repros in a few sizes, but these look original.

    Very rare car, though.

Whoops, I just checked the listing and it's been ended because the item is no longer available. I assume that means it was sold outside of ebay (putatively locally). I don't know if the $9500 buy-it-now price is reasonable for this car or not. The condition seems to fall a little short of that money, but the rarity might make up for it.
