Wow, I have never heard of a "Limited" wagon. Was this an option only in the late 70s on these?

Is that a Cadillac steering wheel, or did Buick also use this style wheel in these Limited wagons?

Started as an option package for the Estate Wagon in 1978, and, yes, it included the previous generation Cadillac steering wheel.

I think the Limited option was discontinued for 1980 when Buick broke out the Electra Estate and LeSabre Estate as separate models.

That's in derby territory. Hopefully, it'll have a buyer that won't smash it up.

Wow, that is a beauty!! I see that Buick emblem in the center of that "Cadillac style" steering wheel now. lol. The other pic was dark and I could not see the emblem on the wheel. I wonder if Cadillac made too many of these wheels and decided to stick them in a big luxury Buick?

That blue one is the one with the vinyl backseat. The white one needs a good home, and fast, or she will be wrecked. Wish she were close, as I would love that one!

That car deserves to be saved. It looks to me like someone started removing the wood on the front fenders and then gave up. I pulled the wood off my '89 Custom Cruiser, and it was a TON of work.

This is a loaded car. Notice the buttoned 3rd row seat, rare, only Buick did that.

As for the steering wheel, normally these had the Buick boomerang-style steering wheel, but the Caddy-style was only substituted if the customer ordered the telescope column option. Learned this after owning a 79 Electra and Park Ave. Love these cars. Looks like a 403 under the hood too.

    Save it!

My understanding is that Colorado does not use salt on its roads?

Is that right? If so, this 1979 Buick Estate looks that much better! (y)

Hey, still for sale at $800! Not perfect, but who can argue at that price.
