Check this out, http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Holden-Premier-1974/SSE-AD-2457212/?Cr=12&sdmvc=1 you don't see them like this anymore. This is a very rare car indeed. This is priced somewhere close to right for what it actually is. If I was not so determined to find a 73 Clamshell, I might be considering this one for myself!
Aside from being white this is one sweet wagon! Definitely looks like a keeper! I especially like the shutters.
I didn't realize until recently that these are closely related to the US Chevy Nova, '75-'79 version (the dash is a perfect match, except for being reversed). Unfortunately, we never got a wagon version of those cars - wish we had. This one seems really loaded - pretty rare to find one of these with the V8 and all the equipment?
Yes Krash the dash mounted electric switch for raising the arial is the last option you would pick and this is the give away imho, there would be little else to add to the list. They deleted the 350 chev option after 1972 so we have been stuck with a 5 liter version (in this a case a Carby fed 308) right up untill 1999 when we finally got the 5.7 Ls1 in a Commodore. This Prem is fully loaded and is as well optioned as my 74 Statesman which is fully loaded as well. The other nice feature is the the cloth inserts on the seats. This is a very very rare car!
At that money, I'd expect the transmission to function properly and the air to be cold as a freezer! Nice car, otherwise.
