Gee why me. All I want is a 1988 Buick wagon. What I am getting is one excuse after another:banghead3: Lets see first it needs to be detailed?? Then it needs to be smoged because we are a car dealer and cannot sell it to you without one, DUH:naughty: Now I just got off the phone with "Jerry" and it seems that the auction company we bought it from didn't give us a certificate of Title!!! "It might take 10/15 days to round one up" So I guess this one is not going to happen.:bsod:

I had a feeling. OK...have an attorney call them immediately and tell them they have broken the law and you will be there to pick up the car and everything had BETTER be ready! Do it. Do NOT let these crooks get away with this! They simply have realized that the car sold too cheap and they want more money for it. My bet is that there is someone in the wings that has offered more money.
Get a lawyer and get that car or sue them. Don't give up and walk away!

OK, everyone....call or FAX the number in my next post and tell them to give that car to alph or we will picket their joint until they do! Also, we will spread the word about their shady practicesw all over the internet!

New call, now it will not pass smog:rofl2:I think that they were not expecting to sell it soo cheap and not locally. Seems strange that being an export co. you would know you can't sell or ship a car without title. When I told them I transport cars for a living they said they had to go but the "boss" would call me in the morning:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

Correct, alph...you cannot, especially a dealer, offer a car for sale without a title. I was in the business and sometimes I would get a wholesale car from another dealer with the title in transit. I had to agree to buy the car that way (had to trust that dealer) and then wait for the title before I could put it on the lot.
There is no question in my mind that they simply were shocked that the car went for the low price that it did. Noe they want to frustrate you out of the deal to get more for the car. BUT...they offered it on line and THEY are the responsible owners of that car. THEY are the ones breaking the law not some unknown auction company.

I am incensed by this company's actions and I want them. I want them bad.
If you walk away from this good deal I will be very disappointed.

What???!!! hope it turns out??....learned of a scammer??....don't have any of my money??
What's wrong with you people??? Are you content to let this happen???? Alph bought the car fair and square in good faith. GET A LAWYER and get that car out of there before they trash it to avoid prosecution.
Am I the only one that fights for what's right here??

How far is Bakersfield from Ontario?

If you have the time, I would suggest an in-person trip to this fraud of a car dealer tomorrow morning. An auction on eBay is a binding contract, as they so often like to remind us. You won the auction. The car is yours if you pay the agreed price. There is no car dealer anywhere that does not know that you have to have a title to sell a car!
I agree that they probably were not expecting someone local to win the auction, and now they just hope you go away.

I'm with silverfox! Fight 'em! That's your car! You won fair and square!

No, your not the only guy who fites for there rites, and no I'm also not content to how this deal seems to have turned out.....and it's the ultimet sh**s for alph:mad: considering all the BS the seller is now putting him through!

The selles other listings have near to none bids on ebay......why??? IMO, and it;s just IMO this deal fell into " if it sounds to good to be true......."

I would not want a car froma dealer/seller like this....it's gona cost more than it's worth in the long run sadly, and having not seen the car in person for inspection.....just what are you going to get after a scam dealer has lost the battle, and is ticked off because of.......

If you have not already done so, print off from eBay all the info about this auction. I suspect the dealer will try to delete it.
