Looks pretty sweet, who knows what he might come off of it for. My damn email won't message these ads and there isn't a number.

One thing about that white dash, you would never have seen one that was factory fitted. Too much glare. Ford used to colour key the dash/carpet/seatbelts of the car to the outside colour or give you a choice of accent colour on a white car. The Galaxie sure needs a whack of attention. The 1960 is a beaut, and very rare. Not sure if it is a Colony Park or a Commuter, but it appears to be a 4 door hardtop wagon, either way. Really neat car.
Hi ,dont see them very often but yes it is a 1960 Colony Park and does not appear to rusty from what can be seen in these photos , as for the Gals dash i feel Mike correct about colour combs (factory) gess a can of white trim paint may have been uesd
I've seen that green Galaxie in a book - "101 wrong ways to customize your car". It was the first car to pull all the wrong ways into one vehicle. If it was still running today it would have the stick-on portholes.
Although rare, Ford did fit some cars whith a white dash, why I don't know.... I had a rust bucket trashed 67 Cougar with a white interiour and the dash pad was white. I have to admit, it looked wrong and it was origonal, I still have the all white console from that car. I have also seen it on a 60's full size Merc...it looked wrong The wrost dash and interiour colour I have ever seen was in a 70's Vette....brite silver. A friends dad bout it, you needed sun glasses on a cloudy day to be in that car.
My first car, a 1949 Dodge Coronet coupe, dark maroon, was also the first car I customized. Painted the inner window trim and dash brite refrigerator white. I do remember seeing mid 70's Vettes with silver interiors.
The Galaxie lower dash panel has definately been sprayed. I like the red 60 Colony Park. It even has the optional factory remote fender mirror on it. Neat car.
Keep checking CL for the same town for a 1960 Ford and see if it comes up for sale. Maybe check Kijijji as well?
