Looks like a nice find: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SW-stationwagon-/140863224129?forcev4exp=true#ht_500wt_1182 Does that look like the original clear plastic seat cover on the back seat?
Yup.... Starting in '66, I always thought this generation of Falcon wagons was a loser. Exactly the same size as a Fairlane wagon, but without the nicer styling. Well worth it back then to pay maybe a couple of hundred more for the Fairlane.
Seller says that he purchased if from the (female) original owner - this must have been one of those "little old lady who only drove it on Sunday" owners. 132k miles works out to be only 3k miles per year. I prefer the Ford Galaxie wagons - the Fairlanes and Falcons look plain compared to the Galaxie - but I admire this one for what appears to be it's great original condition.
I always loved this generation of Falcon wagon. The same body, exactly, as the Fairlaine, just a different front clip. brake lights and trim pieces. If I lived somewhere that cars didn't get eaten, I would be very interested in this one.
I got to go with KK on this one, I liked the earlier Falcons better than these. This looks like a nice survivor though?
MM....i thought we wuz boys??... actually....to be clear....I luv the 66-69 wagons !! the cars ...not so much
I think shes a beauty If I had the cash this would make a good winter driver Plain Jane just the way I like it not being an electrcian you dont always see these no option station wagons, Im in
