***The Plymouth Cranbrook was this owners' favorite car and would consider trading the other 4 listed cars if buyer could get the Cranbrook running again...and street legal; up to the point of painting and installing a new interior. Ask the owner for more info. A contract will be required for this arrangement.

If that Pacer wagon was driven to that parking spot, someone please explain why he drove the tires off it to get there? Guarantee, with the soil in Wisconsin, there is nothing but dirt and iron oxide below the soil line. The lot is worth nothing more than whatever he can get for scrap, or parting them + scrap value.

Damn, people are delusional these days!

Too bad about the Studebaker Hawk.
If it had been kept in a barn, it would be worth something.
These are all parts cars, IMO. :(

Geeze a car with weeds growing around it ...... The famous line " Ran when I parked it " again. Looks like he planted a hub cap and a Pacer sprung up. Wonder if the dude used Miricle Grow.

The body from what can be seen has survuved the wisconsin winters. Ive seen worse conditions on better cars, cars that are worth dumping money into. Some cars you fix up soly because you love the car, but dont hold any monatary value, some cars worth outweighs whatever money you put intomthem, youll get it back if or when you decide to sell. The Plymouth is too fargone to fix.

The Earth is slowly taking that car back.

Id go for this, if I was about 2000 miles closer. The body seems in decent shape aside from the weeds growing all over it. Bodywork is always what wipes out a wallet. The mechanics can be done at a reasonable cost. But it is an AMC Pacer, not one of the worlds more plentiful cars so parts may be tough.

I do give the seller extra credit for correctly spelling and phrasing
Leaf spring in rear needed replacing.....

I get really ticked when I see, for example "Leaf spring in rear needs replaced...."

Each of these cars is utter junk metal (and/or rust) IMHO, after sifting for possible useable parts, as pretty much everyone has acknowledged.

If the idea of parking outside under a tree for two or three decades or so was ever considered a viable storage option, these results should dissuade.

I think we should start a club. I never realized it was grammatically correct to use phrases such as needs rebuilt, needs painted, etc. That irks me to no end. Is it that difficult to slip in a "to be" or something to that effect?

I agree. Proper grammar is becoming a lost art. Texting is probably a contributing factor.

I brought this topic up in another thread somewhere (maybe on another forum) and actually had some guys respond that they didn't see any grammatical error with "needs replaced".......:banghead3:
