As long as it sells for under $5000 looks like a decent project. Looks like all the important stainless is there and the body is straight. Rockers and a few other metal working areas. Great mild custom material.
    Glass probably the main worries.

Yup....I posted the eBay link to the new guy from Alaska that is going to restore his. The guy selling this one also has another one for parts so I posted the link for our new member...flyfisherak or something. Anyway, I thought this guy would be a great source for fly. if he bought both he would start to corner the market with 3 of them.:D

Way back in the late 80's I would have bought that instead of my handyman wagon. Looks like the stainless and body are in good shape. A lot of people don't even think, you have to sand all the paint off, replace the interior, and many other things anyway.
I even took my windows out so half the work is done. Drop in an LT-1 and overdrive and it would make a great wagon.

I used to like the 57's better, but...the 58's are the perfect ostentatious example of the chrome the hell out of it era.:biglaugh:

I don't remember where I commented last. Same thing happened a few days ago. I have a satellite dish for internet. When a bird doo doos on it I go off site. Well more like a thunderstorm, so I am back and trying to catch up.
As for the 58 Buicks, not a lot of people love them but I was raised when chrome and stainless were king and those Buicks were king of the kings.

I'm with you 1tireman. I'd guess it means GOOD.
as in good example. Those people from up north get a bit snooty at times! It's from all the cranberries and cheeze.
