    Depends on the derby, I think. They were allowed in ours until recently. People gobbled up every Imperial they could get their hands on around here.

    Very nice! Good luck finding a parking space large enough for it. In proper tune, pointing one of these cars to the west and flooring the gas pedal actually speeds up the earth's rotation just a tad. :D

    GOOD LORD!!! I thought my Vista Cruiser was big, that Imperial makes it look like a compact!!

    I will, but it takes arround 8-10 weeks till the car is here in Germany :cry:;)

    Some News, the car is since Monday in a Car Center in Houston and some work is to do.
    Here is the List from the shop:
    steering greabox, wheel cylinders, shoes, turn drums, pads, turn rotors, pack bearings, bleed brakes, valve cover gaskets, pinion seal, exhaust, front shocks, rear shocks, radiator
    coolant, oil change, upper control arm bushings, all new fuel lines, fuel filter, needs battery tray, PCV VALVE, horn realy, fan clutch.

    Hey Nitoh...how did you find a car repair place that you can trust here in the USA since you are in Germany? Do you have a friend in Houston? Have there been some of your friends in Germany that have visited here and found certain places that are reliable? It's hard enough to find a good, reliable and honest mechanic shop when you LIVE here.:D

    A friend of mine, Marc, lives sometimes in Houston and sometimes in Germany, he have the conection to the car center (Meineke Car Care Center in Spring/TX)
    He buys old cars in USA and ships the cars to Germany.

    On Marc´s website you can find another 71 Imperial, here is the little story:
    5 days after I´ve bought my blue 71er Imperial, I find another one on ImperialClub.com.
    A 71 Imperial with Paisley Top, I never seen this before. Money was gone, so I cant buy the car.
