    Notice the chorme bars on the driver side tail lamp, there should be a few more, none on the other side anymore.

    The last Canadain only Metoer sold in Canada was 1979...... all the cars were built in the USA but for Canada only

    Meteors in Canada were basically Fords, made to look like Mercury's (sedans on 121" wb), priced like Fords so the Merc dealers had a lower end product to offer. We had same as USA Mercurys (sedans on 124" wb)

    after 1961, Canadian Metoers shared the Mercury skin, not ford.

    That one looks mostly 'Ford', except for the front end. The hood looks like a Mercury, but that Chrome grill-surround bumper appears to be unique - neither Ford or Mercury.

    Yes, kinda like GM did with the Canadian Pontiac.......

    Yes again.... It's a Canadian Meteor:)


    FoMoCo did that for some reason with the Can Meteor. They had there own style all stripped down but you could order one loaded to the hilt. these are rare and like finding a cavity in a hens teeth
