    Did a little checking. Only available engines were the 5.0 Chevy (305?) and the 5.7 diesel.

    I thought the V8 engines available in 80 and 81 Bonney's were the 265 and 301 Pontiac engines or an Oldsmobile 350 Diesel. Last of the Poncho engines, I believe. I could be wrong...as usual.:D
    Yeah, KK....I'm close enough...about 75 miles away. I can get to it easily if you have an interest. Want me to call him and get more info first?

    Naw...just dreaming at this point.
    Man I want a wagon........

    Wife did say some time ago I could buy a 'hobby' vehicle, but we didn't discuss how much I could spend, and that was before we got pinched financially. Time to 'explore' that topic again......

    I really like the looks of this one, but if I had to choose, I think I would rather have a '86--'87 Colony Park, and I know one of those would be a lot easier to find than this Bonneville.

    Yup...and a better engine in my opinion. Let me know if you change your mind. Getting to this Poncho is a piece of cake.

    Agreed. I love the 80-81 Bonnevilles. Last of the real Pontiacs before they became Chevy clones.
