Set for a debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next week, images of the Volvo Concept Estate have found their way onto the web courtesy of Jalopnik. If the Concept Coupe from Frankfurt were a modern P1800, the Concept Estate is a modern P1800ES.

We briefly detailed the finale to Volvo's trio of concept cars earlier this week, when images of it poked out finished in a custom car cover. Now, with a batch of uncovered images at hand, we're able to see just how pretty this brown beauty really is.

Below the beltline, this is pretty much the Concept Coupe, featuring the same T-shaped headlights and wide, rectangular grille. Above the beltline, though, things get fun. The long, glass roof terminates in a squat, wide rear end which is set off by a pair of meaty haunches. The taillights, meanwhile, expand on the style shown on Volvo's Detroit concept, the Concept XC Coupe. And that hatch opens up into a rather cavernous rear end.

The cabin, meanwhile, feels as funky as a piece of Swedish furniture, with white leather, orange seatbelts and carpets and an interesting, plaid-like cloth for the headliner and seat backs.

Take a look up top for our gallery of leaked images of the new Concept Estate, and stay tuned for more on this sleek Swede ahead of its debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.Volvo Concept Estate is a brown shooting brake, need we say more? originally appeared on Autoblog on Wed, 26 Feb 2014 15:32:00 EST. Nope, Don't like it. If you aren't going to put in more than two doors, don't put in more than two seats. That's my opinion. I've crawled into enough backseats that it is just a pain, waiting on the passenger/driver to get out or reminding them you have to get in first, and it's terrible with buckling kids in there.

To no ones surprise it doesn't really ring my chimes. Mail slot windows for one thing. I prefer to rest my arm on the window sill rather than my chin. Negative slope on the roof too. And it comes from the factory with ghetto wheels. I bet for the same money I could get a fully restored P1800 with a tricked out B20 under the hood.

OK, I admit I am a cranky old man, but hey, there has to be some consolation for all this grey hair. :D

I agree with the cranky old man. But for some reason I like that one. Could do without the farm wagon wheels.
Not really what I'd call a station wagon with the short rear section but nice.
And I do like a tu-door which is a problem with kids or extra adults.
Back when my 55 Chevy wagon came out people were also proportioned differently and could get in and out with ease. :slap:

I agree with the cranky old men.
A nicely fixed up original P1800 would be a way better purchase.

I like that red P1800. Even the wheels look nicer. Ditch the side pipes!
    That's a sporty wagon.
