I've been handling data backup processes for one of my customers for some time now and this includes making sure that they have full copies of their website data and databases stored offline for emergencies. The customer has mentioned a number of times what some of the sites are used for but I didn't really need to know and didn't pay much attention. Today I was archiving a website in preparation for relocating it and thought I would take a look at it, since it was very large. I thought it was kind of neat once I saw it and I'm betting there are at least a couple of folks here who might want to take a look. My customer has a contact who has become known amongst car racing crowds. He has a collection of his own racing memorabilia that he was thinking of selling and a business was formed to give collectors a centralized location to shop for goodies. I'm not really affiliated with them, I just happen to be their IT guy and thought that you guys might be interested in seeing this. http://racinghalloffamecollection.com
That 'collection' is so huge that I imagine it turned INTO a business. He must have associates all over the world grabbing stuff for him and collecting a fee.
