This is the garage that will be home to the 59 Apache truck in a previous thread and a 53 Chevy wagon. A few pics and some contents. Ken Oh, and anyone who ever tells you that they have nothing to do in retirement, never had a hobby.
KB, is that your's? Did you buy it? Congratulations. That is way cool; what a fun playhouse. Anybody notice the sign advertising a gallon of gas for 32cents. I'd love to have those days back again. I remember in my teens everybody would chip in so we'd get a dollars worth and we'd be good for at least all night.
OK....that is just too cool and I'm jealous! I was raised in my dad's gas station and I love seeing that old stuff. Love it!
Absolutely awesome. Reminds me. There's a house close by me that has an abandoned gas station on the property next to it. My dad has said for years that it would be the perfect place for me. I could live right there and have a great classic car setup.
thats freekin cool...i came so close to selling my place to buy an old Service Station a few years ago....the guy that beat me to it...leveled it and built some fugly 'palace' on it
Built what you see in the summer of 2010. Got slowed down abit along the way when I broke my right wrist. Still have quite a few finishing touches for it. It is built on a 5-1/2 acre property 3 miles out of the village from where we presently live. Have our present home FS and hope to put in a modular with an addition this summer. We have our home FS competitively priced and we feel positioned well even in today's market. If anyone can believe the news, the economy seems to be perking up some.
