Tailgate support Cable?

    Can anyone tell me where I can find the correct replacement tailgate cable for a 1970 Chevrolet Kingswood? It's supported by one cable on the left side that measures 17 inches end to end. Has a 5/8th center hole for the bolt. Thanks.

    May be easier to find a rope or cable maker to copy your original. Ship builders/repairers/chandlers, those sort of places.
