then my co- worker says..."they look the same as these to me"...and I say.....WTF????.....THEY ARE!!...the Mustang ones were 50 somethin my cost...and the generic stuff for the Chevy trucks was 22 with taxes!!

    soo...like i said...i learned something!!

oh...and the door whiskers on the down bar...are the same as 73 Fords!!

I got the weatherstrips (glass runs) from a GM Racing Shop, who reluctantly carried Ford chrome parts. Anyway, he claimed that he bought a few from a distributor in Chicago and had two bags for front door windows (made in India) and 2 for the rear windows (made in Brasil)

From what I've seen, JCW seems to have the right door seals, but their tailgate stuff for Fairmonts isn't really up to snuff. Having said that, the 1978 2 door Farimont trunk seal looked a lot like the tailgate seal. It was worse than mine so I trashed it.

These guys retail a good range:

These guys are in New Zealand, offering international Resto seals:

Well, I discovered that the Ranger/Explorer door seals are an exact match to the Fairmont/Zephyr/Cougar/LTDII/Granada door seals and the Explorer rear hatch seal will fit the wagon versions of the above Fox body cars pretty darn well. And cheap too through LMC Truck catalog for the Explorer/Ranger.
