Anybody know where I can get an official Ford Shop/Repair manual for my 1980 Fairmont? I keep googling and turning up nothing. I plan on getting the 78-83 Haynes manual, but would like an official Ford manual too. Did they not make any, or do I need to look for the entire Fairmont line? Thanks.
Ebay! Thats where I got mine... $20 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/80-F...011QQitemZ320020616543QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V
You need a complete factory set, which is usually 2-5 volumes. That auction was for only one book from a set. Full sets do come up on ebay, and Amazon can hook you up with used version of the chiltons and haynes if you don't want to use ebay.
So wait, does the body - chassis - electrical manual include the engine? Do they include that under chassis? Sorry, Nube here.
I think I found what I was looking for: http://www.auto-repair-manuals.com/product8122.html Thanks for getting me pointed in the right direction.
Oh, my, don't pay $55 for that! Patience, and you shall be rewarded, seriously I got my '78 manuals on ebay complete for $20! All volumes.
Oh, not to worry. I just said I found what I was looking for. Then the search ensued. I just picked one off on eBay for $8 in mint condition. This is why I love ya guys. I'm a lot like my wagon-- just point me in the right direction and I'll get there.
